While investigating their CS5.5, a need to uninstall CS5 installations presented itself. Next thing is it turns out there’s another entry in the registry for what gets executed if you manually uninstalled it, something like this: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\PDApp.exe –appletID=”DWA_UI” –appletVersion=”1.0″ –mode=”Uninstall” –mediaSignature=” /qn Sounds simple enough right? Their new Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition generates an msi, I’ll just uninstall that. I get the error code 20: “Install source path does not exist” mentioned above when the attempt to remove ‘CS5 Design Standard (if installed from CD)’ command runs. The XML file is in the same directory as this batch file.
The product was installed from a network URL, but it was the CD data. If I am completely off base here, please clarify! Thanks so much for your help! I’ll try and explain a little more, you may already know this but others may not.
